Exciting times ahead for sports fans as the Soccer and Rugby seasons have now kicked off and the GAA and Golf seasons reach a crescendo.
1. GAA fans have two great games coming up. First up, the Kingdom take on the might of Donegal in the All Ireland Football Final in Croke Park on the 21st of September.
Then following the excitement of last Sunday’s fantastic hurling clash between Tipp and Kilkenny, fans are eagerly anticipating the big replay on September 28th . Let’s hope the rematch is as good as last weekend’s game!
2. The Guinness Pro 12 promises some very exciting games for Rugby fans throughout the rest of this year including:
- Leinster v Munster : 4/10/2014
- Leinster v Ospreys: 29/11/2014
- Cardiff Blues v Munster: 1/11/2014
- Munster v Ulster : 28/11/2014
- 3. After two wins against Oman and then Georgia, Irish soccer fans will be eagerly anticipating the final two International games of 2014:
- Ireland v Oman: 11/10/2014
- Germany v Ireland: 14/10/2014
- 4. The European and American teams are now chosen for the last great tournament of the Golfing Season, the Ryder Cup. Starting on the 23rd of September , this tournament is a ‘must see’ for golf fans.
