As one exciting season of Sport ends…Another begins!

Kick Off!

Exciting times ahead for sports fans as the Soccer and Rugby seasons have now kicked off and the GAA and Golf seasons reach a crescendo.

gaa1. GAA fans have two great games coming up. First up, the  Kingdom take on the might of Donegal in the All Ireland Football Final in Croke Park on the 21st of September.

Then following the excitement of last Sunday’s fantastic hurling clash between Tipp and Kilkenny, fans are eagerly anticipating the big replay on September 28th . Let’s hope the rematch is as good as last weekend’s game!

 

guinnesspro2. The Guinness Pro 12 promises some very exciting games for Rugby fans throughout the rest of this year including:

  • Leinster v Munster : 4/10/2014
  • Leinster v Ospreys: 29/11/2014
  • Cardiff Blues v Munster: 1/11/2014

  • 3. After two wins against Oman and then Georgia, Irish soccer fans will be eagerly anticipating the final two International games of 2014:

    • 4. The European and American teams are now chosen for the last great tournament of the Golfing Season, the Ryder Cup. Starting on the 23rd of September , this tournament is a ‘must see’ for golf fans.

Objective: Sky Sports wanted to make GAA fans aware of their entry into the field of play as far as the broadcast of live All Ireland Championship Games was concerned.

With 196,000 unique users and 105,000 social media followers  HoganStand.com provided them with the perfect environment in which to do this.

Media: Sky used the full spectrum of media available on  HoganStand.com – high impact formats, content and social media posts.

 

Dunnes Stores and the i-Believe Golf Channel and i-Believe Sports Channel

Objective:Build awareness of the launch of the new Dunnes Stores Golf clothing line in association with Padraig Harrington amongst the primary core audience of hard core Golf fans driving purchases in store and online. Also using the i-Believe Sports Channel to promote the launch amongst general sports fans who based on research have a heavy interest in Golf.

Media: Standard display activity on our dedicated i-Believe Golf Channel reaching over 223,000 serious golf fans in Ireland as well as an extensive display campaign across our i-Believe Sports Channel.
